Bride demands full refund from wedding photographer after making shocking discovery about husband

Bride demands full refund from wedding photographer after making shocking discovery about husband

It's a pretty 'wild' story...

For many people, weddings are a joyous occasion celebrating love, commitment and all that other stuff but for others, it can be a total and utter shambles.

One bride sadly learnt this the hard way when she demanded a full refund from her wedding photographer after making a shocking discovery about her new husband.

Shayla Herrington, who goes by the handle @shaylamherrington online, took to TikTok to provide her followers with a little more context behind the bizarre situation.

Shayla began by telling viewers: "Y'all, wedding photography Facebook groups are wild. Let me tell you the tea I got for free on Facebook this morning."

She continued to explain that in one of these Facebook groups, a wedding photographer was asking for advice because a bride was wanting a refund even though she had already delivered the wedding photo gallery.

Explaining a little more backstory, Shayla went on: "The wedding photographer hired a second shooter for the wedding and apparently the second shooter and the groom really hit it off that wedding night and exchanged information.

"I will let you infer from that what precedes to happen between the second shooter and the groom."

The bride eventually found out and the marriage was 'broken up' but, here's the kicker, the bride wanted a refund for the whole ordeal.

"Because, to the bride, this is a professional that the wedding photographer hired and she just tangled around with her mans," Shayla carried on.

"Then the wedding photographer's like, 'Guys I did all this work. I can't control my second shooters. What do I do?'"

The short clip has since clocked up over 700k views on the platform, alongside hundreds of comments from people eager to share their reactions to the peculiar situation.

One TikTok user penned: "Clearly it’s not her fault, and no refund is owed. However, hiring people with NO professionalism looks poorly on your business."

A second suggested: "I would offer the bride a free 'trash the dress/divorce/burn the dress' photoshoot. Or a boudoir shoot."

"I would ask the second for her pay back and give it to the bride, but no cut from my pay," claimed a third, while a fourth chimed in: "The bride could go after the groom for the price of the pictures in the divorce."

A final TikTok user advised issuing the bride with a 'partial refund', adding: "Yes you did the work but that second shooter represents you and if your employee messes up you usually do what you can for the client."

What do you make of the situation?
