The miracle of childbirth can be one of the most wonderful things - if you're expecting it.
Well, that was far from the case for one woman who had absolutely no idea she was pregnant until she gave birth on her very first day of work.
The mum, who goes by the handle @rivvahcrowther online, took to social media to open up on the surprising situation.
She shared a series of three snaps to TikTok with the first one being an outfit mirror selfie with the overlay text reading: "Pregnant (had no idea)."

The second photo was of her newborn baby with the text: "Woke up in labour in my bedroom!!! Gave birth to a beautiful baby boy all on my own."
The mum also revealed she birthed her little tot in breech, adding: "Was supposed to start my new job the morning I gave birth."
The NHS says: "If your baby is lying bottom or feet first, they are in the breech position.
"If your baby is in a breech position at 36 weeks, you'll usually be offered an external cephalic version (ECV). This is when a healthcare professional, such as an obstetrician, tries to turn the baby into a head-down position by applying pressure on your abdomen.
"It's a safe procedure, although it can be a bit uncomfortable."

Imagine doing that all on your own in your bedroom.
And, lastly, the final snap was of her child all grown up as a toddler.
"My blue-eyed boy Oakley," she added.
Clearly baffled by the reveal, dozens couldn't wait to share their reactions with one TikTok user writing: "New fear unlocked. Super woman though birthing alone in breech!"

A second penned: "This needs a proper story time. I need to know everything lol."
"This is my worst fear! What did ur new job say?!" asked a third, while a fourth chimed in: "Please tell me you have a copy of the email you sent explaining this to your new employer."
Now that would be interesting.
"Oh gosh! What an amazing story! You should be so proud of yourself!" praised a fifth. "He’s a beautiful boy, congratulations!"
A sixth gushed: "Well done! Congratulations! Pretty crazy, how you didn't know and gave birth. Must have be so strange. Ended up with a baby. Like wtf."

"Wow that’s amazing! Beautiful boy!" another echoed, while a final TikTok user added: "Aww he is absolutely beautiful. What an amazing story!"
In the comments, the woman explained she had a cryptic pregnancy, which is when you don't know you're pregnant.
It can happen to people who have irregular periods, don't know the common signs of pregnancy or get a negative result on a pregnancy test.
