A professional hula hooper has been 'mum-shamed' for raising her daughter in the circus.
Keyla Remache, 29, from Devon, has been taking her little girl Arwen Millichap along with her to work, which means moving to a new town every week, as part of her tour of the UK.

From as early as two months old, the mum has been dressing her daughter in diamantes and leotard costumes.

Although she and her husband Liam Millichap, 33, are extremely keen to raise Arwen in the circus environment, people on TikTok have been criticising their decision to do so.
Keyla, who was born and raised in the circus, said: "People will always have an opinion.
"It's not about trying to change their opinion about you or your lifestyle, it's about accepting that haters are going to hate.

"If you're happy with your life and how you are living then it doesn't really matter what others think.
"My daughter has already dressed up for the circus loads of times and she loves it.
"We [me and my daughter] have a lot of matching costumes.
"My mum and best friend made the costumes and they made her so many when she was born.

"I think she was two months old when she went into her first costume.
"It was a blue and white costume full of stones. It had a leotard at the front with a little skirt on the back.
"To everyone sending all those horrible messages and comments. Just because we are a family of circus performers.

"To all of you mum shaming and judging without even knowing us. She will have education. She is healthy and happy and she is our world.
"Circus performer does not mean being less than anyone else or less educated. Stop spreading hate."
The mum explained: "From as early as six years old I was putting glitter on my face and a pretty costume on and I did a lot of training, travelling and performing.
"For me it's all I know and it was all I knew as a child. Living in a circus is just the same [as other people] but just with wheels on your house."
When Keyla was younger, she was taught on site by a teacher who would travel with the group, but she says this option is no longer available for her daughter.

Instead, the mum-of-one has to 'pre-book' nursery spaces for Arwen at the start of each circus season to ensure childcare is available for her daughter in each place they perform.
Keyla said she and her husband will continue to perform in the circus part time at weekends and during holidays.
However, buying a house is now their aim and it will ensure Arwen has more stability.
