A mum has been called out for her very demanding list of requirements for prospective babysitters, including nine years of experience, no tattoos and ‘ideally will be a Trump fan’.
Naturally, when it comes to leaving your little ones with someone to be looked after, you want to ensure they’re up to the job and will do their absolute best to make sure they’re safe and happy.
However, this woman’s list has been torn apart on social media due to her lengthy list of demands and the fact she’s only willing to pay $10 (£7.92) an hour.

The advert, which was shared on Reddit, begins: “Looking for a babysitter in the area. PM me if you’re interested. Here are my requirements:
“Have a bachelor's degree in childcare or nine years of relevant babysitting experience.
“Three good references with phone numbers.
“Full time availability including weekends.

“Your own car and driving licence.
“Native English speaking and preferred second language to teach my children.”
The list goes on to say the babysitter must be CPR-certified, with no history of traffic tickets or runs in with the police, and happy to be around ‘two pit bulls as well as ‘willing to pay for some snacks’ out of their own pocket.

And the list doesn’t end there - the choosy mother continues on with some more requirements, some of which seem fair enough and others that are less so.
“No tattoos,” the list goes on. “No drugs. No alcohol. No sketchy social media behaviour and/or public pictures.”
“Must be OK with emergency last minute calls.
“Perfect attendance 100 percent required.

“Will love to work with an infant, three-year-old and five-year-old.
“Ideally will be a Trump fan.”
And what will you get for all that? Well, she explains: “In exchange, I will be offering $10-an-hour under the table, cash. It’s like making $15-an-hour normally but without paying tax.”
As you can imagine the extensive list caused a bit of stir on Reddit with one shocked parent saying: “Just for reference. We have similar requirements but pay $5K-per month, in Tennessee.”

Another wrote: “Mary Poppins couldn’t pass these requirements.”
While a third commented: “Wow, I got ruled out for this job pretty quickly and I’m a certified teacher. Not good enough I guess.”
Someone else joked: “For $10-an-hour I will come over to watch your TV and eat your snacks. Expect to return to alive children… that's it.”
“Why would the babysitter be required to pay for the kids' snacks?” a fifth person asked. “At $10 an hour, that could be like doing an hour of work for free.”
