A woman whose loved ones decided to distance themselves from her when she started creating adult content has now made herself a millionaire and is able to provide her two children with everything they need.
When Lucy Banks, from Australia, first set up her OnlyFans account four years ago, she knew things were going to be tough.
She came from a small town, and word about her new money-making venture travelled fast - so much so that Lucy credits some nosy neighbours with helping her rake in $3,000 AUD (£1,500) in her first month on the platform.

Recalling the beginning of her career to Mamamia, Lucy said: "At the time, I think I made $3,000 and I was like, 'Amazing!'.
"It's only because I come from a small town and everyone found out I did OnlyFans. Everyone wanted to have a sticky beak but I knew I could [make more money] in a month."
Lucy became more serious about the venture and started working full-time, but while some people in her town initially couldn't resist checking her page, Lucy admitted that her friends and family weren't quite so interested.
"I had family members that didn't talk to me for 18 months," she said. "I fell out with my entire friend group. It was really hard and there was a time when I was like, 'What have I done?'"
Lucy felt bad at first, but then she realised she had not 'personally done anything' to the people who were angry at her.

"You're still the same person," she told herself. "Focus on your goals. You're trying to build a future for your boys."
Those thoughts kept Lucy going, and in her first month of working full-time as a content creator she made around $10,000 (£5,100).
Fast forward to today, and Lucy now has more than 500 subscribers and earns up to $3,000 per day. During her time on the platform, she's made more than $1 million (£516,500) worth of sales.
"It's changed a lot from when I first started in 2019 to where I am now," Lucy said, looking back on her years in the industry. "It still carries a lot of stigma, but it has eroded significantly since 2019, which is so great.

"Initially, people were just shocked. It was the biggest deal in the world but it's been nice to kind of just live my life without the huge amount of judgement that I used to get."
Though Lucy never reconnected with the friends she lost when she started her account, she's thankfully been able to reconcile with her family members, who have acknowledged the positive changes she's been able to make not only for herself, but also for her two sons.
She's now focused on building a deeper connection with her subscribers, while also looking for a committed and understanding partner of her own.
"I'm not ashamed of the work I've done," she said. "I'm actually really proud of what I've done."
