If - like me - you've been wandering around Aldi's middle aisle during the run-up to the festive period, you'll have run into some heartwarming Christmas treats at bargain prices.
A giant £15.99 inflatable Santa for the front garden, you're going straight in my basket. A £7.99 Baileys white chocolate liquor dupe? Oh, go on then.
And shoppers have been left even more delighted this week, after the price of a magnum - yes, a 1.5 litre magnum - of prosecco has been slashed just in time for Christmas party season.

The much-loved bargain-brimmed supermarket has reduced the price of the best-selling super-sized (150cl) bottle of Costellore Prosecco DOC Magnum by 29%.
The mega bottle of booze was originally a reasonable £13.99 before last week, but has now been reduced to an even more eyebrow-raising £9.99.
The Aldi best-seller boasts fruity notes of peach, apple, pear and lemon zest - all guaranteed to go down a treat after the third or fourth glass, at least.
Aldi's exciting Christmas price chop comes just days after the international grocery chain was in the headlines for a different, more controversial reason.
One shopping mother this week slammed a fellow Aldi customer after he committed a 'shameful' act at the self checkout counter.

Clearly stunned by the bloke's behaviour, the mum took to social media to share the situation and people couldn't believe what he got away with.
Taking to the Aldi Mums Facebook page, she wrote: "We went to our nearest Aldi yesterday when we went to self service checkout we noticed the amount of $178 was still on machine.
"When I approached the manager, she said it had been paid for but in fact the gentleman was packing his unpaid shopping in his car."
She added: "And people wonder why the price of food is going up, too [sic] many people stealing."
And, to make matters worse, the mum later spotted the man in the car park and heard him packing his groceries into his car while chatting on the phone.

According to the woman, he was 'bragging' about the stolen haul and 'loudly' boasting about 'how easy' it was to get away with.
"Whoever he was talking [to] about it, just said how easy it is to steal your fortnight shopping from Aldi," she went on.
"And whoever he was talking to [said] keep your voice down. Then he whispers call you back soon."
She added: "I wanted to go and say something, but my hubby said don’t worry."

Maybe he should have just waited for Aldi to make some more of its price-chopping Christmas reductions...
