Now that the sun is at least attempting to rear its head, we can put away the clothes rail and dry our washing the good old fashioned way - outside on the washing line.
But, we don't know about you, we always struggled with how little space there is when there's a particularly big load that needs drying.
That is, until one genius woman on Facebook shared her tip for conserving space.

Writing in Facebook group, Family Lockdown Tips & Ideas, user Lauren Mottershed wrote: "Ran out of room on the washing line, put the shirts on hangers".
Mind. Blown.
Alongside her post - which has now received as many as 1,700 'likes' and over 300 comments - was a picture of the shirts which were stacked sideways on hangers, meaning they didn't have to be pinned up shoulder to shoulder, thus taking up substantially more space.

And it's safe to say that many people were floored by the simple and yet oh-so-effective tip.
"This is a game changer lol," one person wrote.
Meanwhile another wrote: "Such a good idea! Can't believe I'm 41 and only just discovered this".
"Sorry but this is genius," said a third, as a fellow member wrote: "Omg life hack".
"Oh god why haven't I ever thought to do that," someone else wrote. "Thanks for sharing!"

Others also chimed in to say they'd be doing the hack for years.
"I always hang my son's shirts on hangers if they dry outside. And they don't even need ironing. So they go straight back in his wardrobe," a fellow group member penned
"I do this with all our clothes as putting laundry away is my biggest bug bear and find if its already on hangers its super quick," said another.

A fellow group member said "I've done this it's great."
We're not exaggerating when we say this may have changed our lives.
