Weather is one of - if not THE - most important factors when picking your wedding day.
Some dream of a white wedding with snow-dusted and autumnal bouquets, while some traverse the globe to ensure sunshine at all costs. Rain is, unsurprisingly, what we all want to avoid on our wedding way - but many fall foul to unpredictable showers.
With Christmas the most popular time of the year to get engaged, brides-to-be everywhere will be starting to plot dates in their calendars.

Lucky then that we have the low-down on the best and worst days to get married in 2020.
Weather experts completed research for Dream Weddings at James' Place which analyses 100 years of weather in the UK to help brides predict the driest, hottest, wettest and snowiest days to get wed.
For those dreaming of a white wedding, 25th February has been revealed as the best day for snow as it has seen the heaviest snow fall, whereas those just after a sprinkling should consider 1st December as this is when the first snow fall is most likely.

Following this, the 26th February, 27th and 31st December follow as the next snowiest days.
For sun worshippers, research found 25th of July to be the sunniest day, which isn't surprising considering it's the peak of summer. Following that, you can ensure sunshine most on 10th August, followed by 3rd August, then 2nd August and 1st July.
If rain is your worst nightmare, best to avoid 11th November. Remembrance Day is predicted to be the rainiest. After that, 13th October has seen the most showers, followed by 9th August, 25th August and 27th June - which just confuses matters further.

We all know that weather is so unpredictable, so ensuring you have a dry day is a lot down to luck.
Bearing that in mind, wedding photographer Emily Robinson of Right Brain Photography has given some tips for making the most of a all weather scenarios.
"For rain, make sure you have some really nice umbrellas for the bride and groom to use and make the most of any shelter," she says.

"With snow, it's best to make the most of the scenery and have fun! I've found it's lovely to get child guests involved as their excitement really comes across in the pictures for some great family momentos!"
She adds: "If the forecast is looking hot, ensure your photographer has a portable fan to keep you cool and try to take shelter where possible."
