A TikToker has shown the shocking results after having her hair dyed at a salon, revealing her hair is 'falling out in chunks' eight months later.

Madison Waller, 20, took part in the trend in which TikTok users show their salon fails. She posted a throwback picture of her healthy hair before as well as a picture of a model sporting the same hairstyle she showed to her hairdresser.

Unfortunately, she ended up with yellow hair instead of the blonde balayage she requested. Madison said: "I win it. Period."
She wrote in the caption: It's been 8 months and my hair still falls out by the chunks - no one else can even talk #hairfail #fail".
"Chairs would have been thrown through windows," one commenter said.

Another person wrote: "I wouldn't have even left the salon until I got a refund or they fixed it. I'm so sorry girl."
While a third TikTok user shared: "There was nothing left to fix unless they shaved it."
Madison later followed-up her original TikTok with another where she revealed text messages between herself and the salon about her botched hair.
She contacted the salon via Facebook to get to the bottom of the situation.

Madison included the picture of the model from Pinterest to show how different her desired hair style - for which she paid £300 - and the result were.

After she sent the text message, the salon responded: "I'm not sure what went wrong with the chemical side of the service or the consultation. But the best we can do is give you a refund at this point.
"You have our sincerest apologies, I will talk to [redacted] when work resumes on Tuesday. I would like to know how your hair arrived at that state. It looks nothing like the picture. Not sure why he would do a all over bleach if you just needed highlights to help blend the ombré you had before he bleached your hair. You will get a full refund on Tuesday."
