If you consider yourself a dog person and you're looking for a new job, you may be in luck.
A company is looking for someone to play with puppies all day - and you'll be paid £24,000 a year.
This sounds like our dream job.
Yappy.com is an online shop that sells personalised items for dogs and cats as well as their owners. They're dubbing the new, unusual role, Chief Puppy Officer, and they want to make sure their employees' four-legged pups in their Manchester office have the best day ever.

The nine to five job will involve taking charge and entertaining the cute fur babies while their owners are busy working at their desks creating products for pets across the country.
The chief puppy officer will be in charge of entertaining the adorable fur babies and will include - but is not limited to - petting them endlessly and tickling their tummies.
The lucky person who gets hired will also be required to carry out market research with each office dog. They will then provide written feedback on toys, treats and accessories to help yappy.com create even more fabulous products.

They are also looking for someone who is highly experienced in handling dogs who is also able to understand their needs. An ‘expert’ in tummy ticking is also desired.
You will also be in charge of chaperoning each dog to their photoshoots on time and ensuring they always look picture perfect.

In other canine news, Millets looked at the latest pedigree puppy registration statistics by The Kennel Club to find out the most popular dog breed in the UK.
They found that the Labrador retriever takes the top spot for man's best friend with The Kennel Club identified the breed experiencing a rise in registrations of 13 per cent since 2019.
French Bulldogs came in second after previously being the most popular dog in 2019.
And Pugs have seen 5,000 less registrations since 2017, after a period of huge popularity with 11,000 registrations four years ago. Now, they make up only 6,000 registrations in 2020.
