Netflix subscribers are all raving about an under-the-radar international release that just hit the service this month.
While many regularly peruse the streaming giant for the latest crime and thriller offerings, others love Netflix for its wide range of Korean TV shows.
Fans will already know that popular K-dramas such as True Beauty and Doctor Slump reside on the service, alongside thrillers such as All of Us Are Dead, Sweet Home and Black Knight.

However, there’s a brand-new Korean true crime series that viewers just can’t get enough of and it stars the likes of Choi Woo-shik and Lee Hee-joon.
The title of this eight-episode project is A Killer Paradox and you can watch the heart-racing trailer below:
A Killer Paradox, also known as Murder DIEary, is based on a South Korean webtoon of the same name by Kkomabi.

An official synopsis from Netflix reads: “When one accidental killing leads to another, an ordinary young man finds himself stuck in an endless cat-and-mouse chase with a shrewd detective".
The show follows Lee Tang (played by Choi) - a former army veteran turned convenience store clerk who dreams of taking a trip over to Canada.
While at work one evening, Lee has a violent confrontation with a customer called Kim Myeong-jin (Jo Hyun-woo) which ends in murder.

However, as Lee walks away from the fight victorious, this accidental killing sparks something within him.
Our protagonist learns that he can identify the evil in people, which in turn sees him pledging to rid his world of wrongdoers.
A Killer Paradox sees our anti-hero embarking on a murder spree before a question is posed: is this convenience store worker serving justice by getting rid of villains?
Or, is Lee just evading his fate and the fact he is just as bad as his victims?

Lee Chang-hee’s complex creation currently has a rare 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes after all eight episodes dropped on Netflix on February 9.
Since then, viewers have taken to social media to express their adoration.
One user of X, formerly known as Twitter, typed: “A Killer Paradox mind blowing really great.”

A second said: “A Killer Paradox is really good, I already have 5 eps even though I just watched it this afternoon.”
“Watching ‘A Killer Paradox’ a Korean thriller series on Netflix,” commented another. “It’s quite clever. Starts a bit slow but ratchets up. It has an embedded superhero story in it with an unlikely anti-hero.”
