Michelle Keegan is set to reunite with the writer from Netflix sensation Fool Me Once for a new series, and we CANNOT WAIT.
We started the year with a bang thanks to Harlan Coben adaptation Fool Me Once, which shot to the top of the Netflix charts – and is still sitting pretty at #3, one month after its release.
It saw Keegan, 36, star as Maya Stern, a woman who is dealing with the ‘brutal’ death of her murdered husband Joe... only to spot him walking around her home on a nanny cam.

The mysterious thriller had viewers hooked in no time at all, and when it was all over, many people found themselves turning to other Coben series to fill the void.
And it turns out Keegan is also returning to screens, reuniting with none other than the BAFTA award-winning Danny Brocklehurst – a name you may recognise as one of the screenwriters for Fool Me Once.
The pair are working together on the second series of BBC drama Ten Pound Poms, which follows a group of Brits who leave dreary post-war Britain to embark on a life-changing adventure in Australia.

The first season, which hit screens last year, launched to a 28-day figure of 7.7 million viewers, making it one of the UK’s biggest dramas of 2023.
For the second instalment, we’ll see nurse Kate Thorne (Keegan) and the Roberts family (Faye Marsay and Warren Brown) as they settle in to life Down Under after a ‘challenging first year’, determined to make their new home ‘everything they hoped it would be for a fresh start’.

“Series two will also introduce some exciting new characters, including the Skinner family, fresh off the boat from Ireland and the unscrupulous land-lord Benny Bates,” the BBC said in a press release.
“But will these new characters bring some sunshine into our returning characters’ lives… or just more drama?”
Alongside Keegan, Marsay and Brown are Aussie actors Rob Collins, Leon Ford, Declan Coyle, Stephen Curry, Hattie Hook, Finn Treacy, Emma Hamilton, Cheree Cassidy.

Brocklehurst, who created the series and also serves as writer and executive producer, said: “The positive viewer response to Ten Pound Poms was a true delight.
“We tapped into a little-known part of our recent history and told stories which reflected the realities of the real Poms that made the trip.
“I couldn't be more thrilled to be teaming again with the BBC, Stan and Eleven to continue our characters' adventure down under.”
Filming for Ten Pound Poms kicks off in Australia in mid-February, with the first series available to stream on iPlayer now.
