Fans have stumbled across a deleted Matthew Perry scene from Friends which producers ‘should have left in’.

The iconic American sitcom stopped airing in 2004, but what still gives us great entertainment to this day, is finding new scenes that never made the cut.

Producers of the show must have had a hard time deciding what made the final edit, because even the deleted scenes are comedy gold.

This scene in particular was set to feature in one of Friends’ arguably more iconic episodes, that being the wedding of Chandler and Monica.

Matthew Perry starred in Friends for 10 years.

It’s a two-part episode, and is crammed full of drama and jaw-dropping moments.

Bombshells dropped during this storyline were a runaway groom, Rachel’s pregnancy, Joey’s drunk co-star, and the best bit of the whole lot was cut out!

That being the moment where Chandler lost his balance whilst dancing with his mother-in-law, and decided to pull on her skirt to steady himself, revealing what we can only imagine…

One fan said on Facebook: “They should have left it in.

“I’ve never seen it before and laughed out loud.”

Die-hard Friends fans will remember he had trouble dancing at the wedding due to his choice of footwear, and in the deleted scene, he starts to slowly fall to the ground whilst trying to throw some shapes.

But instead of reaching for Judy’s shoulders to regain some composure, he rips her skirt clean off - leaving her lingerie totally exposed.

Fans who bought the show on DVD, rather than watching on TV, were lucky enough to remember watching this hilarious moment.

One commenter said: “I’ve always owned the dvd extended edition box set thinking that all those scenes were just a part of the actual show, until I found out they were extended scenes and all of them are brilliant.

“This one is well good.”

Another said: “I hate watching friends on tv.

“I watched the dvd’s so many times and so many funny scenes were missing!

“Drives me crazy.”

A third added: “I’m so glad I’m not crazy!

“Always thought it was added and then removed.”

Since his death, Matthew Perry’s memoir sales have skyrocketed.

PEOPLE reported that 2.5 million copies have been sold, and in an old interview with the publication, Perry said: “I wanted to share when I was safe from going into the dark side of everything again.

“I was pretty certain that it would help people."
