The eagerly-anticipated film all about Prince Andrew's infamous interview with the BBC back in 2019 has finally landed on Netflix.
The drama, which boasts a whole bunch of big names, was released on the streaming platform last Friday (5 April), and it's already impressively climbed to the prestigious first spot in the 'Top 10 Films in the UK Today' rundown.
Since its release, Netflix viewers all over have been racing to social media to share their thoughts on the flick based on an insider account of how the women of Newsnight secured Andrew's interview about his friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Now, for context, the Duke of York's interview with the BBC came after months of speculation over his relationship with Epstein, who died in his jail cell a month after being found guilty of having curated an elite circle of associates who procured, abused and trafficked women and children.
Andrew was accused by Virginia Giuffre of having sexually assaulted her on numerous occasions in Epstein's company when she was a minor and, following her harrowing allegations, the Beeb sat down with the disgraced Prince to hear his eagerly-awaited side of the story.
Scoop follows the real-life story of ex-Newsnight producer, Sam McAlister, played by Doctor Who's Billie Piper, who manages to secure the interview which Newsnight legend Emily Maitlis (played by Sex Education's Gillian Anderson) conducts.

The interview went on to become the 'scoop of the decade', which is said to have directly resulted in the Prince being stripped of his Royal public duties.
And, around five years after the original interview, it seems viewers are no less shocked by the harrowing ordeal.
Many are, unsurprisingly, sickened by the case but it seems there's one specific scene that Netflix users are particularly 'creeped' out by.
Without giving too much away, there's one scene in the film involving teddy bears that people are branding as 'creepy' and 'troubling'.

In short, it sees him lose his temper with a staff member who didn't correctly line up his collection of teddy bears in his room.
One X, formerly Twitter, user hit out: "OK for those who are watching, have watched or will watch Scoop, yes the teddy bear scene is creepy, in fact Prince Andrew, played brilliantly by Rufus Sewell is either creepy, utterly stupid or both."
A second penned: Just finished watching Scoop on Netflix and was pleasantly surprised I enjoyed it. Spoiler alert! Casting of Prince Andrew was perfect…petulant man child with zero empathy, name-dropping 'mummy' everywhere and throwing tantrums over his teddy bears."
"Scoop. I watched it last night! In one scene there’s an accurate depiction of Andrew’s teddy bears on his bed. He likes them all to be in order. There’s something deeply troubling about this…agree or disagree?" asked a third while a fourth chimed in: "The teddy bears killed me..."

A fifth praised: "Scoop was excellent I still can’t believe Prince Andrew’s delusion that it went well and that would put an end to it.
"Him and everyone involved with Epstein should be in JAIL!! Also WTF was with all the teddy bears on his bed…"
"I watched Scoop on Netflix and I find the teddy bears slightly disturbing," admitted a sixth, while another slammed: "I'm watching Scoop on Netflix and yeah HIM AND HIS TEDDY BEARS GOING TO HELL!"
And, a final Twitter user added: "If you think they exaggerated Prince Andrew in Scoop then think again... the teddy thing is bizarre."

Unfortunately for such creeped out viewers, the whole teddy bear thing is reportedly very much so real with Charlotte Briggs, a former Buckingham Palace maid telling The Sun it was her responsibility to lay out Prince Andrew’s 72 teddy bears every single morning by size order.
"As soon as I got the job, I was told about the teddies, and it was drilled into me how he wanted them," she revealed.

"I even had a day’s training. It was so peculiar. After all, he was a grown man who had served in the Falklands. Each had to be carefully positioned. They were old-fashioned teddy bears – the Steiff ones – and nearly all of them had sailor suits on and hats. It took me half an hour to arrange them."
She continued: "Then at bedtime, I had to take all the teddies off and arrange them around the room. They each had a set place. We had to stack the smaller ones in an unused fireplace, again in size order, to make them look pretty.
"His two favourite bears sat on two thrones on either side of the bed. The others would sit at the foot of the bed on the floor."
