TV presenter Phil Spencer has revealed how his mother made a heartbreaking prediction just a week before she and her husband were killed in a car crash.
The host of Channel 4's Location, Location, Location lost his father, Richard, and mother, Anne, in the tragic incident which took place at their farm in Kent on Friday (18 August).
Spencer's parents, who were both in their 80s, were in the car when it 'toppled over a bridge' and ended up 'upside down in the river'.
They were both pulled from the vehicle, but sadly 'never regained consciousness', Spencer said.

As he announced the news of their death on Instagram, the 53-year-old explained both of his parents had been experiencing health issues prior to their passing.
Spencer wrote: "Although they were both on extremely good form in the days before (hence the sudden idea to go out to lunch), Mums Parkinson's and Dads Dementia had been worsening and the long term future was set to be a challenge."
Spencer went on to explain that his parents' deteriorating health had prompted his mum to make a saddening prediction just days before her death.
He explained: "Mum said to me only a week ago that she had resigned to thinking 'now it looks like we will probably go together'. And so they did."
Spencer expressed belief that it was God's 'plan' for his parents to pass away at the same time.

He continued: "There were no physical injuries and I very much doubt they would have even fought it - they would have held hands under the water and quietly slipped away...
"Although desperately sad and shocked beyond all belief - all family are clear that if there can ever be such a thing as having a 'good end' - this was it.
"It feels horrendous right now, but after almost 60 years of marriage - to die together on the farm they so loved will, I know, be a comfort in the future."
Spencer concluded his post by expressing belief his parents were 'where they would have wanted to be', because they were together.

"As a family we are all trying to hold onto the fact Mum and Dad went together and that neither will ever have to mourn the loss of the other one. Which is a blessing in itself," he wrote.
Phil shared his parents with three siblings; Robert, Caryn and Helen. Richard and Anne were also grandparents to eight grandchildren.
