Megan Fox has opened up about a miscarriage that she and fiancé Machine Gun Kelly understandably found ‘very difficult’, saying she’d never been through anything like it in her life.
Fox, 37, has released a new poetry book exploring what she’s been through in her life, including abusive relationships and miscarriage.
Pretty Boys are Poisonous bills itself as a ‘collection of f**ked up fairy tales’, showcasing Fox’s ‘wicked humour throughout’.

"These poems were written in an attempt to excise the illness that had taken root in me because of my silence,” she said of the book.
“I've spent my entire life keeping the secrets of men, my body aches from carrying the weight of their sins.
“My freedom lives in these pages, and I hope that my words can inspire others to take back their happiness and their identity by using their voice to illuminate what's been buried, but not forgotten, in the darkness."
In one poem, titled ‘One Day and 10 Weeks’, Fox – who has three children from a previous relationship with Brian Austin Green - writes about an ultrasound of her unborn baby girl, saying: “There is an ultrasound by your side of the bed, 10 weeks and 1 day… do you think that if she could have, she would have left a suicide note?”

Fox added: “But now I have to say goodbye. I close my eyes and imagine holding you tight against my chest as they rip you from my insides.
“I will pay any price, tell me please, what is the ransom for her soul?”
Both Fox and Machine Gun Kelly – who got engaged back in 2022 – have alluded towards miscarriage in the past, but never spoken out about the matter publicly.

Fox spoke out further about the poetry project on Good Morning America, reflecting on the ‘difficult’ pregnancy loss.
“I had never been through anything like that before in my life,” she explained.
“I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us. And it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately, and together and apart, and together and apart, and together and apart, trying to navigate: ‘What does this mean? Why did this happen?’”
