TikToker Kyle Marisa Roth dies aged 36

The late social media star was famous for sharing controversial blind items on TikTok

People across the globe are in mourning after it was announced that a beloved TikToker has sadly passed away.

The family of Kyle Marisa Roth, who had over 195k followers on TikTok, have shared the news that the 36-year-old died last week.

Kyle was commonly referred to as the 'Blind Item Girl' on the social media platform after becoming known for reading blind items - an item of gossip about a celebrity that is not revealed to the public - starting each clip with her signature: "You want more? I'll give you more."

The social media star's sister, Lindsay, took to Instagram yesterday (15 April) to announce the devastating news.

She shared an old photo of the beloved TikToker holding a dog alongside a touching tribute.

The caption began: "My sister Kyle Marisa passed away last week.

"As a family we are still processing and deciding how to properly celebrate and honour her life."

She carried on, revealing that the family is still waiting to find out exactly what happened, adding: "We don’t know [what] happened yet.

"I know she touched so many people with her humour, intelligence, beauty, gossip activism, athleticism and more - she had so many gifts.

"If anyone wants to connect about Kyle, I'm here to talk and share memories."

Lindsay also assured fans she would keep them 'in the loop' with any memorials 'as they are planned'.

"I am so sorry to those learning about this loss right now," she finished up.

"Any prayers thoughts blessings or intentions for this souls smooth transition are welcomed."

Kyle's mother Jacquie also shared a tribute to her late daughter.

Her LinkedIn post read: "This is not a platform for personal life shares but so many of my connections on this platform go back years and I have a devastating loss to share.

"My daughter Kyle has passed away. She touched some of your lives personally and some of your lives via her immense life on another platform."

Jacquie continued: "Kyle loved and lived fiercely. Nothing makes sense now and we’ll understand more in the next few days.

"Be kind to one another please."

Tributes from fellow celebs and fans alike have since flooded in with Julia Fox writing: "I know I never met Kyle in real life, but I really felt like I knew her. I’m so devastated and have been crying ever since the news leaked on TikTok.

"I really hope she [didn't] suffer and I hope she knew how much she touched our lives. She was a ray of sunshine and I will miss her deeply."

Another fan penned: "Kyle had a way of making everyone feel like they were her best friend. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. We will all miss her."

And, a third offered: "This is so devastating as Kyle spent so much time with us on TikTok and became such a big part of our daily lives. Sincerest condolences this is a huge loss RIP Kyle you are truly loved."
