Big Brother fans stunned after clip of Kerry on Deal Or No Deal resurfaces

Fans of Big Brother have been left in shock after unearthing a clip of current housemate Kerry Riches on an episode of Deal Or No Deal.

The 40-year-old NHS manager from Essex has had her fair share of viral moments since the popular social experiment returned for a brand new series this month.

But before venturing into the world of Big Brother, it turns out that Kerry was previously a contestant on another well-known game show.

A clip of her appearance on the Noel Edmonds-fronted series has come to light and it shows the moment she found out she would leave with an impressive cash prize.

Her episode of Deal or No Deal happened all the way back in 2007 and it also happened to be the same episode when the set was plunged into darkness.

The audience were told that the lights cut out because someone cut through the cable next door.

So it seems that Kerry is no stranger to chaos on a TV set.

Thankfully, the crew were able to get the lights back on so Kerry could carry on with the game, which proved to be very rewarding, with her eventually walking away with £35,000.

She entertained Noel with her one-liners, including the fact that she’s apparently a risk-taker. How so, you ask? Kerry once went to the Maldives even though she saw a couple of documentaries about the sharks that swim around there.

So brave of you, Kerry.

In case you haven’t seen it, on Deal or No Deal there are 26 sealed briefcases, each containing between 1p and £1million.

Contestants must make a decision on whether to accept a cash offer from ‘The Banker’ in exchange for what is contained in the contestant’s chosen briefcase.

Boxes are eliminated in each round, without knowing what’s on the inside. They then decide if they want to accept The Banker’s offer.

The game mixes luck and strategy and if you fancy following in Kerry’s footsteps you most certainly can, because a reboot of the series will air soon on ITV fronted by Stephen Mulhern.

Before entering Big Brother, Kerry revealed how she would spend the £100,000 cash prize.

"We would pay off our debts, of course, but my biggest thing would be that I want to take all of my family to see Mickey Mouse in Disneyland," she said.
