Adele ‘finally confirms’ she and boyfriend Rich Paul are married amid wedding rumours

Adele ‘finally confirms’ she and boyfriend Rich Paul are married amid wedding rumours

The couple got together back in 2021

It’s believed Adele has finally confirmed she and boyfriend Rich Paul are married, amid swirling rumours that they’d tied the knot.

Adele, 35, started dating American sports agent Rich Paul, 41, back in 2021, following the finalisation of her divorce from Simon Konecki that year.

In the years since, she’s kept details on her relationship relatively private, thought that’s not stopped fans honing in on any breadcrumbs she leaves us.

Adele previously told Elle she was ‘beyond’ madly in love with Rich - who represents high profile sporting stars including LeBron James and Anthony Davis - adding: “I’ve never been in love like this. I’m obsessed with him.”

They went Instagram official in September 2021, when the singer posted a photo of her and Rich cosying up at the wedding of NBA star Anthony Davis, accompanying the sweet snap with a red heart emoji.

Speculation that they’d got engaged started in February 2022, when Adele was seen at the Brit Awards with a large ring on her left hand - the same piece of jewellery she sported a week later on The Graham Norton Show.

Norton asked if Rich had popped the question, but Adele remained tight-lipped.

“As if I would ever tell anyone if I was or wasn’t,” she said, adding of her ring: “It’s lovely though, isn’t it?”

Naturally, it wasn’t long before wedding rumours also fired up, with Rich asked by CBS' Gayle King if she should refer to Adele as 'Mrs Paul' the next time she saw her.

Rich said he was not the ‘type of person’ to share his personal life, adding coyly: “You can say whatever you want."

However, at one of Adele’s Las Vegas shows back in September, she described him as her ‘husband’.

And now it seems she’s thrown us another not-so-subtle clue, having claimed to be married while at a live LA show of comedian and best friend Alan Carr.

One audience member told Deuxmoi: “I was at Alan Carr's comedy show in LA tonight and Adele was in the audience. Alan asked the crowd if anyone got married recently and Adele shouted ‘I did’.”

Another person who had been at the ‘small and intimate’ show also told the outlet: “When he asked if anyone got married recently she yelled ‘I did’. Super cute all around and was super sweet but dipped right before it ended.”

They added: “Adele was sitting right behind me with a friend having the best time. Her security only came in to bring her snacks.

“She didn't care if people knew she was there was heckling him they're best friends.”

Mum-of-one Adele has previously hinted at wanting children with Rich, telling Elle: “I definitely want more kids. I'm a homemaker and I'm a matriarch, and a stable life helps me with my music."

However, the Grammy Award-winner is planning to focus on her Las Vegas residency before welcoming baby number two.

She said: "But right now, all I got in my brain is Vegas. I wanna f**king nail it."
