The Great British Bake Off has just confirmed that filming for the upcoming series has officially wrapped - meaning it shouldn't be too long before it arrives on our screens.
A number of upcoming TV shows have been postponed due to the pandemic halting production, but we couldn't be happier that Bake Off seems to have swerved a hefty delay.
We can't wait to scream at the telly in horror over a rubbery sponge and drool over the perfect pastry once again!

While it's currently unknown when the 11th series will begin, last year Series 10 started at the end of August. Of course, we'd be impressed if there were no delays at all as a result of the pandemic, but it certainly seems like the show won't be too far behind schedule.
Back in July, Sky Studios - the parent company of Love Productions which creates the baking show - revealed the series would likely return this year.
Filming was supposed to begin in April but was delayed until July. So how have they managed to wrap it all up so quickly?!

Well, according to Deadline, it turns out the contestants and crew, including new presenter Matt Lucas, all quarantined in the run up to the filming, essentially creating a bubble.
Sky Studios chief commercial officer Jane Millichip said: "It's all happening in deep secret, somewhere in darkest deepest Britain in the shires."
Meanwhile CEO Gary Davey added: "As you can imagine, there was a lot of work collaboratively between Love Productions and our COVID protocols team just to get that right."
