Peaky Blinders fans have been left reeling following season five's explosive finale and the failed assassination of Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin), which left two main characters dead.
With now a snake in the grass of the gang, viewers have taken to social media to share their theories over who exactly scuppered Thomas Shelby's plans to take down the fascist and in turn ambush the Peaky Blinders, killing Aberama Gold and Barney Thompson.
While it seems that Mosley genuinely had no idea about the attempt on his life, eagle-eyed fans noticed Billy Grade (Emmett J Scanlan) making a phone call after Finn announced his plans to go over to Bingley Hall for the assassination attempt.
Despite being warned by Arthur to not spill the family secrets to Billy, Finn let slip about the assassination as he announced, "we're going to kill the fascist" as he rushed out the door.
In the next shot, viewers watched as Billy picked up the phone alluding that he could have been one to foiled Tommy's plans.
Taking to Twitter, a fan penned: "So basically Finn f**ked everyone up by not keeping his mouth shut in front of Billy Grade. Or am I just trippin?"
"Billy's a grass, past it on!" another shared.
A third wrote: "Right well Billy obvs had something to do with that since he literally picked up the phone when Finn told him what was happening????"
While many believe it was Billy, other fans have shared their theory that the Irishman is actually in cahoots with Aunt Polly's son Michael, who had his business proposal to take over the family empire and start again in New York explosively shut down by Tommy.

Following the confrontation in the pub, Michael's American wife Gina (Anya Taylor-Joy) told him it's "time for the second option" - but fans never found out what exactly that 'plan B' was.
And now that loose end has fans thinking Michael and Gina are behind the ambush, with one fan writing: "Superb final episode Got to be Michael and his American girlfriend (she knows Mosley in my opinion)".
"Michael out here trying to come for the top job..." another shared.
A viewer posted: "I reckon Finn f**ked it by telling the Irish bloke who then rang Michael and told him & Michael f**ked Tommy's plan.. killed Aberama Gold so Polly would turn on Tommy."
"Final episode of #PeakyBlinders led us to believe that Tommy's plot was foiled by Finn's loose tongue & Billy Grade's phone call. But I think it will turn out to be Gina & Michael's Plan B," another lamented.
Whoever it is they've truly shaken Tommy to his core - how will he comeback from this? We'll just have to see in the next series.
