Netflix Just Released A List Of Must-Watch True Crime Documentaries

Netflix has just released a list of must-watch series for anyone who enjoyed The Ted Bundy Tapes, and it sounds like a true crime lover's dream.

The online streaming giant has been dominating the true crime game for some time, ever since Making A Murderer became the huge hit that it did in 2015, and more recently since we became obsessed with learning all there is to know about serial killer Ted Bundy.

While we love a good old binge, there's a kind of emptiness left behind when you complete a good true crime series, but Netflix is here to fill the void.

The streaming giant has provided a list of true crime series to keep us all going all weekend long, but the hardest part has got to be deciding what to watch first.

Netflix recommends Shadow of Truth, Casting Jonbenet, Evil Genius, The Confession Tapes, The Keepers, Wild Wild Country and Captive for 18 Years: The Jaycee Lee Story.

The extensive list was recommended for people who also enjoyed watching Abducted in Plain Sight, which I think we can all agree is the most bizarre and twisted pieces of television we've ever experienced.

The one-off documentary film follows Jan Broberg, who was abducted not once, but twice, by family friend Robery 'B' Berchtold who was infatuated by her and whisked her away to get married in Mexico when she was just 12-years-old.

While convincing Jan that she must become pregnant with his child in order to save her family from aliens, B also managed to manipulate not only her mum into having sexual relations with him, but her dad too. Seriously.

Another must watch as got to be FYRE: The Greatest Party That Never Happened, a documentary that follows the failed festival that lead to the organiser being sent to prison for fraud.

What an incredible viewing selection.
