Keeping Faith fans, rejoice: the second season of the runaway hit drama has been released in its entirety on BBC iPlayer.

The hit series, which was produced by BBC Wales and made simultaneously in both English and Welsh, follows the story Faith Howells, a lawyer, wife and mother who tries to find the truth behind her husband's sudden disappearance.

And now Faith (played by Doctor Who star Eve Myles) has returned to screens, having swapped her trademark yellow mac for a new blue trench coat for the latest instalment, which picks up 18 months after she's reunited with her missing husband Evan.

Although many questions from the first season were addressed, new ones arise as she delves deeper into the mystery around why her other half disappeared in the first and where she got her new statement jacket (it's Ted Baker in case you were wondering).

In light of the show's return, which dropped on Tuesday, 23rd July, viewers have taken to Twitter to share their delight and hope for a third season.

One penned: "And right there she's back! @TeamEveMyles is as brilliant as ever... Faith head-butting Evan was a personal favourite moment".

"Finished #KeepingFaith season 2 already, could not switch it off. I need a season 3, please tell me, there will be another season?" another wrote.

A third penned: "#KeepingFaith I've been soooooo looking forward to this".

"#KeepingFaith Goodbye old yellow raincoat: hello smooth new blue funnel-neck, complete with matching suede heels. Wonderful Amy Wadge tracks, wonderful woman (...Faith.... Eve... BOTH..), magical production - WELCOME BACK!" a fourth added.

The bilingual drama, which is known as Un Bore Mercher on S4C, proved a huge hit after it received close to 10million requests to view the series on BBC iPlayer.

The first series focused on the mother-of-three coming to the end of her maternity leave and preparing to rejoin the family firm.

But her world is turned upside one morning when her husband Evan left in his car and vanished.
