Apparently, James sees Harry as his jungle grandfather down under.

I'm A Celebrity's James McVey has been sacrificing his own meals in camp to help fellow campmate Harry Redknapp, his girlfriend has claimed.

By the sounds of things, a bromance is blossoming between the pair, and The Vamps guitarist has been giving Harry half of his own dinners to help keep the football boss in good health.

It looks like the kind gesture has taken its toll on James though, as he looks drastically thinner than when he first entered the jungle.

The Vamps star's girlfriend, model Kirstie Brittain, told The Sun: "James is being generous with his food, giving it to Harry because Harry is struggling so much with all the meats.

"James is veggie so he's giving Harry half his veg, which is why he's gotten so skinny."

According to Kirstie, Sair Khan, who was the third celeb to leave this year's jungle, was first to reveal the heartwarming gesture which has not been seen on screen yet.

Harry's apparently lost half a stone while living in the jungle.

Kirstie continued: "James sees Harry as a grand-father - it's so cute. He really wants to look after him, which is why he's giving him his food."

Earlier this week, reports emerged suggesting that the I'm A Celebrity campmates were having to force Harry to eat in the jungle.

The ex-football manager apparently finds the offerings down under 'disgusting', sparking fears that he was wasting away - 71-year-old Harry has reportedly lost half a stone since arriving in Australia.

As a result, Harry's lacking energy for the Bushtucker Trials and is physically exhausted, spending most of his time sitting around in camp.

Harry previously admitted that he had never watched the show before signing up, so he may have been unaware of the lack of food. Hopefully he'll be treated to a jam roly poly when he's home.

I'm A Celebrity continues at 9pm over on ITV tonight.
