Accio Harry Potter fans! Would it make you feel old if we told you the movie franchise is about to turn 20?

Yep, the magical movie, starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and co is officially turning two decades old on 16th November.

And to celebrate, WarnerMedia is set to put on a five-night event across HBO Max, TBS, and Cartoon Network in the US, later this year featuring a Wizarding World quiz competition series, as well as a retrospective special which looks back on all the movies.

The first programme - a quiz show - is set to put Harry Potter stans to the test by quizzing them on elements of the movies that only true boffins would know.

There are set to be tonnes of special guest appearances, too, alongside challenges that viewers can also join in with at home.

Following this, there's going to be a show reflecting on the movie - think the Friends reunion but all things Potter.

"To celebrate the dedicated fans old and new who have passionately kept the Wizarding World magic alive in so many forms for decades, these exciting specials will celebrate their Harry Potter fandom in a must-see multiplatform TV event," said Tom Ascheim, President of Warner Bros. Global Kids, Young Adults, and Classics.

"All Potter fans can gear up for this ultimate one-of-a-kind celebration by embracing their inner Hermione Granger and studying their Wizarding World knowledge.

"For fans who have always wanted to discover what it might be like to take the O.W.L. exams, this is as close as they are going to get!"

Lucky Harry Potter fans in the US are being invited to apply for the show via the Wizarding World website.

We don't yet have details on if and when this series is going to drop on UK screens, but we'll update you as soon as we have more deets.
