Good Morning Britain viewers can't get enough of stand-in presenter Sean Fletcher, with some fans praising him for simply not being Piers Morgan - who is currently on hols.

GMB fans will know it's not Sean's first time on the show - he's usually on as the programme's sports newsreader - but for the time being he's taking over from Piers and Ben Shephard - and he's made a very good first impression.

Sean, 46, has been especially praised for his "kind and fair" attitude, with one viewer writing: "@SeanFletcher always kind and nice, lovely man, cannot BELIEVE he is 46! He could be 30! Always fair and nice. #bless@GMB Dump Piers, we want Sean!"

Others said they found watching the show less stressful with Piers away, adding that they love Sean especially.

"I've loved GMB these weeks without Piers it's been less stressful to watch," they wrote.

Sean joined Charlotte on today's 'GMB' (

"I had changed to the BBC and probably will again when he is back. Loving Kate, Charlotte and Sean especially."

Another said: "First time I've seen Sean Fletcher on TV and he's making me laugh already amazing!!"

Others complimented the dynamics between Sean, co-presenter Charlotte Hawkins and Andi Peters, with one tweeting: "Absolutely love the energy and dynamics between Sean, Charlotte and Andy, they have made me giggle and sit down and actually watch rather than having on in the background.. let's have more."

Viewers were also praising Sean's new hairdo, with the presenter sporting a longer look post-lockdown.

"I can confirm I am Sean Fletcher but I'm not the Sean Fletcher I was before," he said.

"My son has always been desperate for me to grow my hair... People treat me with a lot more respect now I have my long hair. I'm 46 and I think the short hair made me look younger."

We're just going to put it out there - Sean could be our favourite GMB presenter yet. And with so much incredible reaction from fans, we've got our fingers crossed the temporary presenting stint could lead to a more permanent role!

ITV, make it happen!
