Holly Willoughby’s Perfect Response As Piers Morgan Makes Dig About Her Outfit

You tell him, girl.

In case you missed it, ITV has had a bit of a schedule shake up due to the coronavirus crisis - meaning that Good Morning Britain now runs straight into This Morning, with no Lorraine in between.

And let's just say, we could certainly get used to watching Piers Morgan's interactions with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield every day...

Former newspaper journalist Piers is known for being as controversial as they come, joking at everyone's expense and never mincing his words.

But Holly was having none of it when he tried to make a dig about her outfit yesterday morning.

As she appeared on GMB in a fitted blue jumper, a short leather skirt and a pair of thigh-high boots, Piers couldn't resist but raise an eyebrow and quip: "Your spring wardrobe has obviously arrived."

Looking unimpressed, Holly sighed and responded with what everyone was thinking: "Thank you Piers. That's the most important thing right now".

LOL.

Piers has clearly been enjoying having two new colleagues to take the mick out of, as he also threw a cheeky joke in Phil's direction one episode earlier.

On Monday, as he welcomed the daytime presenters into the GMB studio for the first time, Piers couldn't resist making a "coming out" gag.

Addressing the fact that Phil had recently come out as gay, Piers said: "It's weird for you right, Phil - you come out and everyone goes in."

While the whole country is currently on lockdown, Phil, Holly, Piers and the gang are all still allowed into the ITV studio under new government guidelines.

"Lets start off by explaining probably for the first time ever, why we are here today," Phil said on Tuesday (the day after the new restrictions were brought in).

Before Holly went on: "The government has classed us as essential workers for the time being, as we are here to answer your questions and inform you on what is happening.

'We are running with a skeleton staff and for now on, with lots of people working from home.

"In fact, the mobile crew have brought the cameras through from GMB through a hole in the wall. There are millions of others quite rightly staying at home."

Phil and Holly even did their own makeup on Monday as their backstage crew were sent home, and have been standing a good two metres away from each other every day.

It certainly is a strange time, but we're happy these two are still on our screens nonetheless...
