Episode four of the latest series left viewers with a massive cliffhanger, as AC-12 makes a huge breakthrough in the investigation, but their attempt to interview a key witness goes wrong. And now it looks like they've brought in their secret weapon: Carmichael.
We last saw the no-nonsense DCS Carmichael during series five, when she was drafted in as an independent investigator from AC-3 after the integrity of Superintendent Ted Hastings roused suspicions.
"Pat's back, I can't remember what she's doing there, nor would I be allowed to blab, but suffice to say she's got some new clobber and she's ready to bust some balls," says Maxwell Martin.Line of Duty continues on Sunday on BBC OneFeatured Image Credit: BBC
