It recently emerged that The Only Way Is Essex stars Chloe Sims and Pete Wicks have been in an on/off sexual relationship since 2018.
Now, Chloe, 37, has admitted she has previously dated men to get 'revenge' on her pal, 31, as they attended couples' therapy together on the ITV show.
Discussing the 'blurred lines' of their relationship, the pair attended the session to re-build their close friendship after six months of not speaking following a fight.

The session was held with Celebs Go Dating coach Anna Williamson, who helped the couple talk through where they were at.

Revealing their relationship had become 'sexual,' Anna said: "I don't know if you're comfortable with me putting that term out there?'.

Turning to Chloe, she then asked: "What do you want it to be Chloe?"
Through tears, she replied: "At this point, I don't know, and Pete knows, I'm not as strong as everyone thinks, and I can't be bothered to keep being strong all the time.
"It's got so messy and toxic and part of me thinks it's gone too far."

She added: "I feel like we have just made a massive mess of a really good relationship...
"I don't know if we can go back. I feel like he wants me to be his friend, and I don't know if I can do it."
Pete conceded that if they hadn't "blurred the lines" with each other then Chloe would still be his "best friend".
When asked when the lines were first blurred, he told Anna it was two years ago.

"Is there a pattern when it's on?," Anna quizzed the pair.

"There is a pattern," Chloe replied. "When he can't have me, he wants me, in that way, not as a friend.
"When I go away, he follows me and then we'll spend time together and then the minute I switch and want that he goes 'no'.
"That's led me to take revenge and I have done a few things to hurt him with other guys and it seemed to work because he comes back".
Pete then went on to say the last two years shouldn't have happened, but Chloe wasn't having any of it.
"I'm not going to let you sit there and say that the last two years were a mistake," she sobbed.
The TV hunk also opened up about his relationship with Chloe in an interview ahead of the episode airing.
"I do love her and she is one of the most important people to me and hopefully I am to her but we have subsequently made a mess of our friendship. It is very hard to maintain a friendship when you do that because the lines get blurred and emotions get involved," the reality star told The Sun.
However, fans will be disappointed to know that the TOWIE star has ruled out a relationship, explaining he thinks they're better as mates.
