We've often felt like 2020 resembled something out of a Black Mirror episode, and now it turns out that creator Charlie Brooker is apparently working on a new Netflix show about this year.
The exciting telly news was revealed by none other than Hugh Grant, in an interview with Vulture about his recent show The Undoing.
"I'm doing a thing tomorrow, actually. Charlie Brooker [the creator of Black Mirror] has written a mockumentary about 2020. It's for Netflix," the actor revealed.
Now, Netflix is yet to reveal any details of the show, but Hugh did go on to explain he's playing a "repellent" historian who's being interviewed about the year.

Although we're more used to Brooker's recent Black Mirror, he has worked on a similar style of show before on his Wipe series' which looked back on current television programmes, news events, games, and films.
The show ran between 2006-2016 and earlier this year, BBC aired a 45 minute special, Charlie Brooker's Antiviral Wipe which focused on the pandemic, the public reaction and the news coverage throughout.
It seems the Netflix project will be more fictional, however.
Earlier in the year, in an interview with the The New York Times, Brooker discussed the idea of a Black Mirror episode based on the pandemic.

"I do think, though, that if you were to write now about society collapsing in five minutes after the pandemic breaks out, that cliché dog-eat-dog scenario, people would reject it," he said.
"That would look like a falsehood and people would say, 'Well, that wasn't my experience of what went on.'"
He has also previously said he's not sure Brits could "stomach" another story about societies falling apart.
Hmm, we're so intrigued! No matter what Brooker's Netflix show entails, we're convinced it'll be brilliant. More to follow...
