These 'Hey Arnold' Characters Have Been Morphed Into Real-Life Humans - And It'll Give You Nightmares

As an animation, Arnold's football-shaped head was endearing, in RL... not so much. Prepare for your childhood memories to be ruined

Thought Momo was scary? You haven't seen anything yet. On a similar theme of ruining childhoods, this artist has reimagined everyone's favourite Nickelodeon football head, Hey Arnold!, as a real human and we're never closing our eyes again.

Treasure your nostalgic memories because what you're about to see can't be unseen (sorry).

3D artist, Miguel Vasquez, has answered the questions we've all asked ourselves about our beloved childhood cartoon characters: what would they look like as real people?

Answer: bone chilling. You're going to wish you'd never asked that question.

Seems most people share these same sentiments as one commented: "hell naw that's just plain freaky," with another adding: "dude I saw this. & I am traumatized af".

And we are relating hard to those comments.

And it's not just Helga G. Pataki's crush who got the treatment - Gerald did as well. And the same feelings of fear were felt by all who saw it.

And this isn't Miguel's first terrifying foray into ruining childhood memories. The bloke's been ruining lives for some time now.

Back in August, it was the turn of The Simpsons characters. Miguel, who is based in Ontario, Canada, decided to create a 3D re-imagining of Homer and it's actually frightening/gip inducing.

While most of us wish we could unsee Miguel's 3D art. There are a lot of people on social media who admire the artist's work.

One Twitter user wrote: "This is why l [love] your work. I am both scared out my mind and very intrigued."

Another user commented on Instagram: "Very impressive ZBrush skills! Scary as hell, but super cool!"

We don't know if Miguel is on a mission to to give us PTSD for our favourite childhood shows, but it'll no doubt scar any person grown-up enough to scroll through the artist's Instagram account.

And just when you thought some shows were sacred: he's done versions for Ed, Edd n Eddy, SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick and even Nigel Thornberry.

From what we can tell Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck are safe. But watch this space, and Miguel's Instagram account, to make trips to Disneyland a lot less magical and a lot more disturbing.
