Calvin Harris took to the BRITs stage last night to accept two coveted awards for Best British Single with Dupa Lipa and Best British Producer, but it was his accent that got everyone talking.
The DJ gave a heartfelt acceptance speech and it turns out a lot of people had no idea he was Scottish until hearing his voice.
Calvin Harris was trending on Twitter, mostly down to shocked viewers suddenly realising his Scottish roots.

"All this time I thought Calvin Harris was American #BRITs2019," one confused viewer admitted, while another added: "The fact Calvin Harris is Scottish and not American is the single greatest revelation of 2019 for me so far."
A third questioned: "Never heard Calvin Harris speak before and all I can say is what the f*ck."
"I've been coming here for a few years and I've never got the opportunity to say anything on this stage before, so I really want to thank the people," Calvin said, accepting the Best British Producer award.

"I want to thank the people at home, I want to thank these people here. I want to thank anyone that's ever bought a tune, streamed a tune, come to a show, listened to the song by accident and gone, 'what's this?'
"I want to thank all of you people. This means a lot. So thank you very much indeed."
Calvin joined the likes of Little Mix, The 1975, Tom Walker and Jorja Smith as the biggest winners of the BRITs 2019.
