Chris Evans quite literally set the internet alight over the weekend when he accidentally posted a rather NSFW picture on Instagram.
And now the Captain America star has finally broken his silence on #d*ckpicgate.
Appearing on the Tamron Hall Show, Evans, 39, said: "You know, things happen. It's embarrassing, but you gotta roll with the punches. I will say, I have some pretty fantastic fans who really came to my support. That was really, really nice."

On Saturday, Evans accidentally posted a screenshot of his camera roll which included, among other things, a meme of himself with the words GUARD THAT P*SSY overlaid on top.
But it was the candid black and white snap of (what we are going to assume is) his manhood that really sent social media into meltdown.
The snapshot of his camera roll, which came at the end of a clip of him playing Heads Up, was quickly deleted but not before internet sleuths could share and repost it.

After staying silent for a few days, Chris, who is currently dating Downton "star Lily James, bashfully tweeted: "Now that I have your attention .... VOTE Nov 3rd!!!"
This is far from Chris' first brush with NSFW headlines this year; back in July, he asked fellow actor Paul Rudd the mother of all questions.
While discussing the upcoming Ant-Man movie, Paul, 51, was treading carefully while trying not to give away any spoilers, when Chris decided to steer the conversation towards less risky (but more risqué) territory.

He joked: "I might as well ask you what your paychecks are. Paul, what's your penis size?"
Luckily, Paul took the question on the chin and quipped back: "It's even bigger than my paycheck. Put your own Ant-Man joke there."
