Vogue Williams felt rushed to have kids close together as she didn't want to be pregnant after 40

Vogue Williams felt rushed to have kids close together as she didn't want to be pregnant after 40

Vogue is now mum to three children under the age of five

Model and podcast presenter Vogue Williams has admitted that she felt rushed to have her kids quickly because she didn't want to be pregnant over the age of 40.

Williams is currently 37-years-old and is already a mum to three youngsters; Theodore, 4, Gigi, 2, and Otto, 11 months.

The mum shares her kids with former Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, who she married in June 2018, and though she admitted their family of five is 'complete chaos, all the time', she indicated that she might not be finished having children just yet.

In an interview with OK!, the host of My Therapist Ghosted Me described wanting four kids - though she admitted to having previously tried to pop them out in quick succession.

“I think I felt in a rush [to have children close together] because I was like, ‘If I want four kids, I don’t want to be pregnant after 40',” Vogue said. “So I was like, ‘I’d rather just have it all done.’"

Now with three kids under the age of five to care for, Vogue has been reflecting on parenthood and pregnancy and thinking she 'didn’t need to be in that much of a rush'.

She now has plans to take a bit of time out - "a 'me' year" - during which she'll be touring with the My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast and enjoying some much needed rest, including her 'dream' of going to bed at 7:30pm.

Slowing down doesn't mean Vogue wants to stop entirely, though, as she admitted she would 'love another girl because [they've] got two boys'.

Explaining how their newest arrival, Otto, has been the 'worst sleeper' of all of her kids, she made clear he's still an angel, saying: "I kind of wish he was more naughty because I’d be like, ‘That’s it! We’re definitely not having any more kids.’ But he’s such a sweet, smiley baby, you never know."

While other people have described Vogue and Spencer's house as 'so full on', Vogue assured they 'love the madness' because it 'suits' them.

“It’s kind of wild,” she added. “I never get a minute’s peace. I was sitting in my bra and knickers, waiting for my tan to dry, and my sister and two of the kids walked into my room. I’m like, ‘There’s no privacy!’ But it’s nice to have family there. I just think the more the merrier.”
