Selena Gomez's organ donor Francia Raisa says she's been bullied non stop since speaking out

Selena Gomez's organ donor Francia Raisa says she's been bullied non stop since speaking out

Actress Francia Raisa has shared the awful comments she has received online.

Francia Raisa has opened up about the horrific bullying she's endured after speaking out about her current relationship with Selena Gomez.

The How I Met Your Father actress, 34, was once again asked about her relationship with the Rare Beauty cosmetics founder, 30, on the street in Studio City, California.

For those not in the know, Francia donated a kidney to Selena in 2017 due to the Disney star suffering from the inflammatory disease Lupus.

Even though the pair have always seemed close, in recent times there have been rumours of a falling out following Selena saying Taylor Swift was 'her only close friend in Hollywood' in her documentary, My Mind & Me.

Francia no longer follows Selena on Instagram, which a reporter asked her about on 1 May as well as the state of their friendship, but she dodged the question.

"Sunday is so fun, it's a day of rest. I'm Francia and I'm hanging out with my dog," she said.

When prompted by the reporter again, Francia added: "It's a good day, it's so pretty out now. I was in the snow last week and now L.A. weather."

And now, Francia has since spoken to a reporter again and explained that after he fired questions at her last week, she has received hurtful comments from online trolls and it has had an impact on her mental health.

“They’re pretty bad,” she said about the comments, as reported by TMZ. “I think the one that probably hurt the most, ‘I hope someone goes up your p***y and rips out your other kidney you f**king whore.’”

The Grown-ish star continued: “In no way shape or form does anyone condone bullying, especially Selena – she literally has a whole non-profit dedicated to mental health and I believe Rare Beauty just had an event for mental health.

"So, the fact that I’m being bullied as I am and it is messing with me mentally… To me it’s not what anyone wants for someone.”

Selena’s cosmetics brand donates one percent of all sales to support mental health causes, according to the official website. The brand launched a campaign, titled “We All Have Baggage” for mental health awareness month at the start of May.

Meanwhile, earlier this month Francia’s dad said the pair – who were close friends before the organ donation in 2017 – no longer speak to each other after an alleged argument about drinking.

Francia's father, Renán Almendárez Coello, also weighed in on the situation last year.

The father told Primer Impacto that the pair allegedly 'had a little disagreement when Selena was drinking'.

The Honduran-American radio personality said: "Francia told her she didn't give her the kidney so she could keep drinking, so she could put it to waste... and all that.

"That's the way Hollywood is, that's how it is, glamour money and fame, it changes everybody's brains," he added.

Tyla has contacted Selena Gomez's representatives for comment.
