Paul O’Grady’s husband, Andre Portasio, has shared a sweet tribute to the late star on what would have been his 68th birthday.
The beloved TV personality and performer passed away ‘unexpectedly but peacefully’ in March, leaving behind his heartbroken husband, Andre.
Andre, who had been married to Paul since 2017, shared the sad news back in March, saying in a statement: "It is with great sadness that I inform you that Paul has passed away unexpectedly but peacefully yesterday evening.

"He will be greatly missed by his loved ones, friends, family, animals and all those who enjoyed his humour, wit and compassion.
"I know that he would want me to thank you for all the love you have shown him over the years."
In a heart-wrenching post earlier today, Andre shared a snap of his late husband as well as one of the pair of them together and said the dogs ‘miss you lots’.
He wrote: “HAPPY HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY. Myself and dogs miss you lots and we can only wish you were here with us. Love you always.”
The post has since been flooded with messages of support and tributes to the late Lily Savage performer, with one person writing: “We all loved @paulogrady dearly but you must miss him beyond words. Happy birthday Paul.”

Another said: “Andre he will always be there looking after you and the dogs. Happy birthday in Heaven, wonderful man.”
A third person commented: “Sending love to heaven today and to you Andre.”
Meanwhile, a message shared on Paul’s official Instagram account read: “Remembering our Paul.
“If today we were lucky still to have him with us, he would certainly not be amused at turning 68.

“But we will celebrate his birthday with a drink or two. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAUL - thinking of you always.”
Back in March, Andre shared the last photo of himself and Paul ever taken, while thanking people for their support following his tragic death.
Posting a photo of the couple looking happy and relaxed onboard a boat, Andre wrote: “In time I hope to write to everyone individually and thank you for all posts, messages, phone calls, emails, cards and flowers of support. I much appreciate you all taking the time to reach out.

“I’m so very touched and I’m sure Paul would be too!
“Browsing for a picture I found the last picture we ever took together. Unbeknownst to us back in January this would be our last ever holiday together.”
