Molly-Mae 'heartbroken' after not being able to see baby girl's face in 4D scan

Molly-Mae 'heartbroken' after not being able to see baby girl's face in 4D scan

Molly-Mae shared a pregnancy updated after getting 'sooo emotional' at her 4D scan.

Molly-Mae Hague has shared her heartbreak when she was unable to get a 4D scan of her baby.

The Love Island runner-up is expecting her first child with boyfriend Tommy Fury.

She shared a pregnancy update on her Instagram Stories with her 6.8 million followers following a trip to the doctors.

“Yesterday on our way to baby girls 4D scan which was a huge fail. I was sooo excited to see her little face but we couldn't see it,” she wrote alongside a heartbroken emoji.

The 23-year-old reassured fans that her unborn baby girl is ‘completely fine’ but she was disappointed after waiting ‘as long as possible’ to have the scan in order to have a chance to see their baby’s face.

She added: “(Just to clarify she's completely fine)! We left it as long as possible as well to have this scan as they say the older the baby the better, so I had been counting down the days... wish I hadn't been so optimistic, perfect though, fit and healthy and measuring completely average for weight/size at this stage which is all that matters.

"Not long till we can see that little face in person... I just know she's gonna look so much like her dad!"

Molly-Mae shared the update with a selfie of the parents-to-be beaming in the car.

In a follow-up post, the PrettyLittleThing creative director revealed she went to see The Menu in the cinema after the emotional scan.

“Little cinema trip afterwards to try and cheer me up because I weirdly got sooo emotional from the scan,” she captioned a delicious picture of popcorn and a milkshake from inside the cinema.

“We went to see The Menu… Absolutely loved it. Was hooked.”

Molly-Mae has kept fans up to date with her pregnancy which she announced back in September.

On Wednesday (30 November) she also answered some pregnancy-related questions from fans during an Instagram catch-up session.

When one person asked if she’s ‘scared about labour', the influencer replied: “Crazily… no.

“I’m really not trying to think about it too much to be perfectly honest! I’m going to start hypnobirthing asap, I need to get a move on.”

Hypnobirthing is a type of pain management that can be used during labour and birth and involves using a mixture of deep breathing techniques and visualisation relaxation. This helps the mum stay calm and reduce discomfort in labour according to the pregnancy charity Tommy’s.
