An old interview in which Meghan Markle was asked to choose between Prince Harry or Prince William came back to haunt her after she met and fell in love with one of the options.
I'm sure everyone's played a game of 'Snog, Marry, Avoid' or 'Would You Rather' involving celebrities you never really had hope of meeting, so it's not all that strange that Meghan was asked to choose between the two royals before she started dating one.
What is strange, though, is that she went on to actually marry one of the choices. I'm sure there are a lot of people out there who would love to have that happen with the celebrities in their own games.

Meghan found herself presented with the choice in October 2015, when she was asked to pick between William and Harry during an interview with Hello! Canada.
She laughed and told the interviewer: "I don't know." Eek.
It was only when the interviewer said, "Prince Harry?", that Meghan responded, "Sure," firmly making her decision and potentially manifesting the man she went on to meet one year later.

The old interview was brought back into the spotlight recently when Meghan was presented with the clip during the making of Netflix's new documentary, Harry & Meghan, which reveals an intimate insight into the life of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Meghan claimed she didn't remember the clip, but I'm sure it was very interesting for her now-husband and father of her children to know that she didn't immediately choose him when presented with the option of him or his brother.
Harry appeared to imply that Meghan simply didn't know enough about him at the time, saying: "Less than a year before we met, which shows how little you know. And look how far we've come."
Meghan replied by apologising for the response of her old self, saying: "Honey I'm sorry. Of course I choose you."

Another segment of the documentary sees Meghan reveal that Harry was 30 minutes late to their first date, prompting her to think he had a big 'ego'.
The old revelations about Meghan's choice and their early relationship are just two of many made in the documentary, which dropped today (8 December) with the first three episodes.
Another three instalments are set to arrive on Netflix next week, with episodes featuring interviews from Harry and Meghan as well as family members.
