Britney Spears Supported By Fans After Opening Up In Emotional Post

The fan support has been immense.

Britney Spears has been supported by fans after opening up in an emotional post.

On Sunday, Britney, 40, and her partner Sam Asghari, 28, announced that they had sadly lost their ‘miracle baby early in the pregnancy’.

The Toxic singer has since taken to Instagram to share her thoughts and feelings with her followers, sharing a still of Carrie Bradshaw from Sex And The City which read, “I am not in the mood to be with a bunch of people.”

Britney captioned the honest post: “Unfortunately my mood these days…I honestly hope it doesn’t turn into years!”

Onlookers flooded the star with messages of support and love after opening up on her miscarriage.

One wrote: “Sending you lots of love Britney!”

“I’m so sorry Brit,” another wrote. “Hope you feel better soon, we love and support you.”

“It is ok to not feel 100%, you have been through so much. Take care and sending love,” said another.

Someone else added: “Stay strong, Queen.”

Baby loss charity Tommy’s explains on its website that ‘losing a baby can be heartbreaking’.

“Bereavement, grief and loss can cause many different symptoms and they affect people in different ways. There's no right or wrong way to feel.

“You may experience a lot of feelings and emotions, including sadness, shock, grief, depression, guilt, anger or resentment,” their site says.

Last week, the expectant parents shared their sad loss with others, writing: “It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy.

“This is a devastating time for any parent,” they wrote. "Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along, however, we were overly excited to share the good news.”

They continued: “Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment.”
