Adele refused to become the latest pop star to be targeted by fans throwing things after calling out the bizarre trend while she was up on stage.
If you're a music fan, then you'll know performers have had a bit of a rough time in recent weeks.
First we had Bebe Rexha being hit in the face with a phone in New York, then Pink was forced to deal with some literal human ashes after a fan threw them to her on stage at Hyde Park.
We also had Harry Styles being hit with flowers from fans, but that was admittedly less unexpected.

Anyway, Adele made clear that she was not going to be part of the trend when she took to the stage during one of her recent 'Weekends With Adele' shows in Las Vegas.
One concertgoer caught footage of her warning the crowd against getting any ideas, saying: “Have you noticed how people are like, forgetting f**king show etiquette at the moment? People just throwing s**t on stage, have you seen them?"
“I f**king dare you," she continued. "Dare you to throw something at me and I’ll f**king kill you."
The singer then referenced the t-shirt gun she was holding at the gig, saying: "Stop throwing things at the artist when you can shoot things to people … I’ve been seeing these people. These people lost it, can you imagine?”
Though Adele was being funny in the video, it's definitely in her interest to avoid being hit as some of the performers have suffered real damage as a result of the flying objects.

Rexha had to be taken to hospital after being hit with the mobile phone, and she was left with a black eye as a result.
After an investigation, the NYPD found that 'a 27-year-old male intentionally threw a cell phone' during her performance, and he was consequently arrested and charged with assault.
Just a couple of weeks later, Pink admitted that she 'didn't know how to feel' when a fan threw their mother's ashes in her direction, leaving her having to awkwardly drop the bag of remains and continue on with her song.
And most recently, American country pop star Kelsea Ballerini was hit by an object while performing in Idaho.

She urged people to be more considerate after the accident, saying: “If you ever don’t feel safe, please let someone around you know.
"If anyone’s pushing too much or you just have that gut feeling, just always flag it. Don’t throw things. You know?”
Hopefully the trend is one that will stop quickly, but either way Adele has made clear that no one should mess with her.
