A Vagina Spa Is Coming To The UK And We Have Questions

Such as what does one do at a vagina spa exactly?

You've got your nails done and your hair did but what about your vagina?

Don't worry, there's a vagina spa coming to the UK very soon so now you can add your lady bits to the long list of things that us women are expected to keep in perfectly preened condition in 2019.

But what exactly is a vagina spa and why do I need to go, we hear you ask? Well first up you don't need to go - you're perfect as you are - but VSPOT Media Spa is opening its doors in the capital soon to introduce a range of cosmetic and nonsurgical procedures specifically for down there.

VSPOT Medispa

Hailing from New York's Upper East Side where it opened its doors two years ago, VSPOT - the brainchild of 54-year-old Cindy Barhsop who once appeared on Real Housewives of New York - is now spreading its wings with launches in both the UK and Dubai.

While we don't have an exact date for the opening just yet, Cindy told The Times that "it should happen by Q4 of 2019" and has her sights set on a fancy Knightsbridge location.

Specialising in "women's intimate health", the website states that it boasts an all-female team of 'medical experts in correcting issues that interfere with our quality of life and sexual satisfaction', specifically vaginal rejuvenation, lasers, tightening, urinary leakage, painful sex, menopause, vaginal lightening and more.

There's even an orgasm shot, or o-shot, which claims to boost women's orgasms by injecting their own blood into the vagina.

While the website cites benefits including more frequent orgasms, increased sexual desire and increased natural lubrication, the shot has previously come under fire from gynaecologists, who have slammed the procedure, saying patients risk damaging nerve fibres that could cause long-term problems including pain during intercourse.

As for vaginal steaming, which is also available at the clinic, we thought we'd seen the back of that crazy trend when Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop was mocked by experts for recommending it.

But it's back at VSPOT here, where for $125 (£102) a pop, you can have steam infused with therapeutic herbs in your nether regions for an extensive clean.

For those who really want to give their vajayjay the queen's treatment, there's also a 24K Gold Bikini Wax on offer that uses wax infused with 24k-gold to help 'brighten the skin'.

The area is then treated with LED lights to help fight in grown hair and smooth out the skin tone. All treatments will be priced the same as the New York branch.
