People Are Shook After Catching Ruth Langsford Rap On Loose Women

Rumour has it she's already been offered a record deal.

Ruth Langsford had Loose Women viewers in stitches when she performed a rap song as part of the show's Christmas special on Friday morning.

As one of many musical numbers across the special, Ruth shocked viewers when she emerged in a bright purple shell suit with a gold chain a big hoop earrings - far from what we're used to seeing her in!

After the Loose Women ladies were gifted their Secret Santa presents in the studio grotto, Ruth burst into a rap song before sharing her top tips on wrapping difficult Christmas presents.

Needless to say, people were shocked when they turned on their TVs to see Ruth rapping on their screens.

Viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One viewer wrote: "Just accidentally caught Ruth Langsford rapping about wrapping on Loose Women and very nearly spontaneously turned inside out."

Another simply informed her followers: "Ruth Langsford is rapping on the TV."

"Move over, Nicki Minaj", joked a third.

Ruth wasn't the only one who showed off her skills on Christmas Eve, either.

Fellow panellist Brenda Edwards opened the show with a cover of Leona Lewis' One More Sleep.

There were plenty more surprises across the Christmas special, including a virtual chat with Loose Women's "favourite Christmas couple" Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash.

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash spoke to the Loose Women ladies about baby Rose.(

Filling in the women on how they are getting on with baby Rose, Stacey said: "I’ve put a hell of a lot of make-up on for this interview and you can’t even see it, it sinks into my skin now.

"She sleeps, she sleeps like a newborn - they're up all night really aren’t they? But she is good. She’s content, which is nice. "She’s amazing, she’s really lovely. I can’t stop staring at her. Even when she does sleep, I don’t get any sleep because I’m just staring at her."

Cooled down after her rap song, Ruth asked Stacey if she had any updates on wedding plans.

Stacey replied: “Get your hat out, Ruth. Yes, we would love… if all goes well... because Covid’s still massive and you never know what’s around the corner, but we would love to get married in July next year, we really would. It will be so nice to have the boys and Rose there.”
