Meghan Markle Gives Rare Update On Daughter Lilibet On The Ellen Show

Okay, this is adorable!

Meghan Markle has shared a rare update on baby daughter Lilibet.

In an upcoming interview on Ellen, the Duchess of Sussex opens up about her past life as a jobbing actress, as well as her marriage to Prince Harry.

The guest appearance came as a total surprise to fans of the show when it was announced on Tuesday.

The intimate chat appears to be a far cry from Meghan's Oprah interview back in March. The former actress appears a great deal happier in the promo, laughing at her hilarious audition rituals.

Ellen is reportedly set to reveal that baby Lilibet Diana (named after Queen Elizabeth II and her late grandma, Princess Diana) has now started teething.

According to People, Meghan then puts her hands up to her mouth and said "anything to relieve that".

Always loaded with a quick comeback, the host reportedly offered the Duchess some "tequila". Oh Ellen!

"That's Auntie Ellen for you", Meghan allegedly responded with a smile.

The former actress has also been reported to tell the comedian that Harry and herself are "just happy".

The surprise appearance comes after a rocky week surrounding her autobiography. [

In a teaser shared by the team's official Twitter account, Meghan can be seen telling Ellen about when she used to commute to her previous auditions in a "very, very old Ford Explorer Sport".

The Royal Family member used to attend so many auditions that the security guards would frequently tell her to "break a leg!"

According to Meghan, her car was so old that she used to "open the trunk and climb in, pull it shut behind me and crawl all over my seats to get out".

Bursting into uncontrollable laughter, the Duchess explained to Ellen how she'd "play it off" by pretending to "look for highlighters for my script".

Thursday's Ellen will air in the US at 3pm ET. The UK version will air on 24th November at 2pm on ITV2.
