And Just Like That: Chris Noth Removed From Final Episode Following Sexual Assault Allegations

Chris Noth will no longer feature in the finale of And Just Like That, according to reports.

The actor, who played Mr Big in the reboot of the Sex and the City, was due to appear in the last episode of the series in a fantasy sequence.

However, after Noth, 67, was faced with numerous allegations of sexual assault by several women in recent weeks, it is thought scenes featuring the actor have been cut from the finale entirely.

Noth has denied all allegations against him.

In a report by TV Line, the 10^th episode of And Just Like That was set to feature Carrie (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) travelling to Paris to scatter Big’s ashes, after he died from a heart attack at the start of the series. Big was intended to appear as part of Carrie’s imagination.

But it is now claimed these scenes from the fantasy sequence have been cut entirely from the Sky comedy.

Sources told the publication that the creative team behind And Just Like That felt that “the minimal footage Noth had shot with Parker on location in Paris was not integral to the scene, which is about Carrie finding closure via the spreading of Big’s ashes.”

An insider added: “The finale was not locked at the time that the allegations against Noth were made public.”

Tyla has contacted a spokesperson from Sky for comment.

Last month, two women alleged to The Hollywood Reporter that Noth had sexually assaulted them in two separate incidents, one in 2004 and the other in 2015.

In a statement released at the time, Noth said: “These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross. The encounters were consensual.

“It’s difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don’t know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women.”

A statement from And Just Like That leads Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Sarah Jessica Parker issued support for Noth’s accusers.

“We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences,” they wrote. “We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it.”

And Just Like That continues Thursdays on Sky Comedy and Now.
