Aldi Is Selling Jaffa Cake Scented Candles And They Sound Incredible

Aldi Is Selling Jaffa Cake Scented Candles And They Sound Incredible

If there's one way to get us in the spirit of The Great British Bake Off's return it has to be cake scented candles - no, we're not kidding.

Giving us something we didn't even know we "kneaded" (sorry), Aldi has launched a Jaffa Cake scented candle, which will fill your home with a chocolate orange aroma and have you dreaming of Hollywood handshakes, Baked Alaskas and soggy bottoms.

Catering to the sweet-toothed among us, the German supermarket has also released Coconut Cake, Marshmallow Fluff Cake and Strawberry Pavlova scented candles, which come in a cute glass jar and cost just £2.79 each.

Announcing the new range, Aldi said of the Coconut Cake Candle: "For something more tropical, try this Coconut cake candle. It will ensure your house smells welcoming and especially pleasant for guests."

Yeah, we'd be all over that.

Meanwhile, the Marshmallow Fluff Cake Candle promises to be "great for filling your whole house with a gorgeous sweetness." Mmmm, that sounds delicious.

We have to admit the Strawberry Pavlova Candle sounds right up our street as Aldi says: "This candle is sure to get your tummy rumbling with the smell of your favourite dessert. Why not give it a try?" - Oh, if you insist.

Taking inspiration from this year's GBBO, the four candles truly do sound like some show-stoppers this year's contestants would present to judges Paul and Prue in the infamous white tent.

Want to get a slice of the fun? Well, the candles are available in store and online from Sunday, 1st September.

You don't need to be a star baker for your house to smell delicious this season; but hurry down to store before they're all whisked away as always, the supermarket have said once they're gone, they're gone.

You've been warned so set your alarms now to nab these while you can!
