This Is Not A Drill: M&S Is Selling A Pink Prosecco-Flavoured Egg

If your treat of choice is something chocolatey paired with something bubbly - M&S are about to make your Easter egg dreams come true.

The high-end supermarket have tapped into what every girl wants from the Easter Bunny and launched a hollow milk chocolate Easter egg that's infused with Prosecco and berry flavours.

Dubbed the 'Proseggo Egg', it's been flavoured with both Prosecco and berry and a dash of salt and is on sale now for just £5.

Sounds delicious, but also looks pretty impressive because it's glittery, pink and features a hand-decorated swirling design.

The egg was originally spotted by eagle-eyed bargain hunters on Facebook page Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.

And followers of the page went wild over the find with over 350 reactions, 110 shares and 880 comments (at the time of writing).

One chocoholic said: "I need this in my life."

While another commented: "we need this to share with a bottle of prosecco xxxxxxxxx"

M&S' Easter Egg Developer, Katy Patino, has spent over a year perfecting the egg, alongside the rest of the brand's irresistible collection, which boasts some of its most delicious and innovative products yet.
