Lotus Biscoff biscuits have long been a staple of our cupboards, always there when we need a little afternoon pick me up.

And as if we couldn't love the snack even more, one foodie influencer has upped the dessert stakes and revealed how you can make your own dairy-free ice-cream using the cult biscuit.

Vegan Emm said the recipe was inspired by fellow dessert creator, Franken Creations, who had created a Lotus Biscoff Magnum earlier in the summer.

However, the savvy Instagrammer made a more diet-friendly version of the mouth-watering treat, making it accessible to the lactose-intolerant and vegans among us.

Penning alongside the finished article, she wrote: "OK, I think I'm slightly obsessed with Biscoff right now.

"Another idea inspired by @frankencreations I used @marksandspencer dairy free chocolate and caramel sticks, smothered in smooth melted Biscoff spread and coated in crushed @lotusbiscoffuk biscuits.

"These aren't just any Biscoff coated ice creams these are M&S..... OK you get the picture, check out my biscoffolize highlights to see the process".

And check out her highlights we did.

She's right they don't look like any normal dessert but her step-by-step recipe on how to achieve the finished product is simple.

The influencer revealed you only need three ingredients for the dessert; crushed Lotus Biscuits, smooth Biscoff spread and M&S Made Without Dairy Chocolate & Carmel Sticks.

After gathering all the components, she said to melt the Biscoff spread, which is also vegan and vegetarian-friendly, and then cover the ice cream in the dreamy sauce.

Step three involved coating the dessert in Biscoff crumbs before adding a Lotus biscuit to up the dessert ante.

After adding the ingredients, Vegan Emm explained you'd have to wait a little longer before you can tuck in as the treat needs to be popped back into the freezer to set.

In awe of her genius sweet offering, many of the influencer's followers commented about how they couldn't believe that it was completely vegan.

One penned: "This looks UNREAL WOW".

"Insane! Is it vegan?" another wrote. "Amazing!"

We can't wait to make these at home.
