Never mind the tinsel on tree or the mince pies, it's not Christmas until Greggs has officially started selling its hugely popular Festive Bake, which is basically a Christmas dinner wrapped in pastry.

Well, the delicious Chrimbo treat is officially making a comeback for Christmas 2018 and it's actually going to be back in stores sooner than we first thought.

Fans of the Festive Bake only have 17 days to wait until they can get their mouth around the winter snack as it will be finally be back on Greggs' shelves on Thursday 8th November. What a time to be alive.

It looks like the bakery shop has got our backs too, as the Festive Bake will cost just £1.50, which is exactly the same as what it cost last year and it seems like we're not the only ones who are excited about it.

Sharing the exciting news on its own website, Greggs wrote: "It's the time our year you've all been waiting for - the return of our famous Festive Bake!

"As tasty as ever it combines succulent pieces of chicken breast, sage & onion stuffing and sweetcure bacon in a creamy sage and cranberry sauce. All encased in golden puff pastry with a crunchy crumb topping."

Other Greggs fans have been asking if this year will finally be the year the bakery offers a vegetarian Festive Bake, however, the official Greggs Twitter account wrote: "No plans at the moment but never say never!"
