Forget a six pack and a GSOH, we've found something a whole lot tastier this Valentine's Day. Tesco have outdone themselves on romantic desserts with Tesco Finest 6 Salted Caramel and Belgian Chocolate Profiteroles hitting shelves this Friday - and they're arguably the Mr/Mrs Right of pastry treats.
Because eating in is officially the new going out, more couples are choosing to cook for Valentine's day instead of forking out for overpriced, mediocre meals at restaurants. And supermarket giant, Tesco, has upped its game in response.
Golden choux pastries, filled with a fresh salted caramel cream and topped with an indulgent chocolate ganache. The choux are crisp and the sweet salted caramel cream perfectly balances the rich ganache which is scattered with pink, edible chocolate hearts (because, you know: romance).

Need something to wash them down? Marks and Spencer has just launched a new cocktail as part of its Valentine's Day range, and it is the ultimate romantic tipple.

M&S says its newest pre-mixed cocktail is best served over ice with a twist of orange peel. The ruby red drink glistening over ice cubes in a fancy glass makes it super Insta-worthy, too. Bonus.
It's just £10 per 35cl (and 18% ABV) bottle at M&S making it the perfect booze to serve to your Galentine/Palentine/Valentine/quaff by yourself.
