Full disclaimer: you'll either love it or hate it. The American pizza franchise is putting a British spin on its menu by offering Marmite stuffed crust.

This is the second time this year that they have teamed up with Britain's most loved and hated yeasty spread (back in January they created Marmite cheese scrolls).

Liz Williams, Managing Director for Papa John's told The Mirror: "Following the huge success of our Marmite Scrolls earlier this year, we're extremely excited to spread the partnership beyond our side menu and into the crusts of our popular pizzas," she said.

"Ingredient innovation is at the core of our menu and we're sure that the addition of Marmite to our cheesy crusts will be a huge hit."

These guys will be all over it.

Marmite was created the same way all good inventions happen - by accident. Brought to life in the late 19th century by German scientist Justus Liebig who found that brewer's yeast could be concentrated, bottled and eaten. But the Marmite Food Company was founded later in 1902 in Staffordshire. It has been said that whether you love it or hate it is all in your genes.

According to Papa John's the nation's favourite pizza topping is actually mushrooms, but they're hoping to steal hearts with this addition. The Marmite stuffed crust will set you back a mere £2.50, the same cost as normal stuffed crust (although prices vary between branches). They will launch the stuffed crust later this week, but it's only available for a limited time (8 weeks), so stuff it in while you can.

However, we're holding out hope. That's what they said about the Marmite cheese scrolls which were so popular they have now become a permanent fixture on the menu. If they see that enough people like them, this might just stick around....
